Never Settle For Average

“The way you carry yourself will often determine how you are treated: In the long run, appearing vulgar or common will make people disrespect you. For a king respects himself and inspires the same sentiment in others. By acting regally and confident of your powers, you make yourself seem destined to wear a crown.” -Law 34 of the 48 Laws of Power
Vast majority of people have settled themselves for averages because they fear that they won't be able to reach their dream. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.  Everybody wants to set "realistic" goals because they have convinced themselves that they are incapable of achieving greatness, so they aim for average.

When we were a kid, we would dream of being astronauts, scientists or pop stars. But as we grow up, we face many hurdles and failures which lead us to aim for being average. But there are many others, who keep an open mind and don't let the hurdles come in way of their dream.

"There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are those who turn one into the other."
---Douglas Everett

As we get more older, we set boundaries for ourselves. We set walls for ourselves in fear of failing and choosing the easier path. Everyday we begin to expect less from world. You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you don't try.

The solution to this problem is to force yourself to become better and accept more from the world day by day. Believe that you are the only one who is holding you back and every time you fail, you make progress of not failing anymore on that subject. Your confidence will grow outwards and reach the sky. Please who set this as a mindset have no inner limits of what they can achieve.
